It looks as though this contract will be a week or two longer than they’d originally expected, as their site isn’t in all that great of shape. Whoever they’d got to do the site originally had no idea how to do much of anything. So more work for me, which is cool, though fixing bad code is some of the more mind-numbing work I’ve done. At least I have a real office with a nice view, all to myself, along with speakers so I can turn on XM Radio online and veg out. While I’d rather be at home working, it’s not a bad deal at all. The biggest thing that I missed today was catching up on all of the programs that I’ve recorded.

I’m hoping that I’ll be able to post more once I get used to the new place. My old boss even let me know that if I need some extra income, he’ll have some work for me.

Things are finally starting to look a little up around here… let’s hope that things keep this up.
