Sorry I’ve not been around, but I’ve been completely absent from the blog, but I’ve been running around so much since the holidays that I’ve just not been able to sit still and gather my thoughts together for a valid post.

Today was my first day at Big Ol’ News, and I’m a little confused as to how I got the job, but I’m not going to complain since, hell, I’m getting a paycheck again. It’s much more of a developer position than a designer position, which is where my confusion sets in about the contract. Myself and seven others got to sit and go through the beginning stages of training today, which will be continuing through the week… Maybe I’ll learn something. I know that I need to invest in some JSP books before I’m completely overwhelmed though.

So, I hope that the New Year is treating y’all well, and who knows, I may actually post on a regular basis again.
