It’s amazing what a phone call can do… I’ve got an interview for a 2-3 week contract tomorrow morning. It’s small, but good money, and at least it’s some money coming in. Wish me luck!

Everything has been running smoothly with my move to Atlanta and New Job, well, at least up until yesterday. I found out that the guy that hired me got fired, and no one seems to really know what to do with me. I spent most of this morning helping out a coworker by picking the locks on some display cabinets that we received from the Up North office that they neglected to give the keys for. For some reason, New Job probably won’t have me doing things like that.

I got it. I’m going to be talking with the contracting company later today, then I expect to have a little sit-down with my boss… but since he called out, it may be via phone. Does that equate to breaking up via email?

It’s official. My last day at Current Job is the 16th, and I start at New Job (Anybody got a good name for the new job that I can use?) on the 20th of February. I had a long talk with my boss this morning, and he was extremely positive and happy for me.
